Odd Hours by Dean Koontz
Burnishing Dean Koontz’s stature as a master of suspense and one of our most innovative and gifted storytellers, "Odd Hours" illuminates a legacy of mystery and hope that will shine on long after the final page.
The Host by Stephanie Meyer
A name creating great excitement of late has been Stephenie Meyer. A mention of her vamphyrric Twilight book series (currently being filmed, due December) causes great commotion, and amongst young teens in particular there is a great anticipation for the fourth novel, Breaking Dawn (due August.)
"The Host", however, is a subtler thing. Stephenie’s first adult, as opposed to young-adult, novel, could be considered a Science fiction book for those not accustomed to science fiction.
The Enchantress of Florence by Salman Rushdie
"A novel of dazzling beauty, and an amalgam of history, fable, and vivid imagination" Yesh Prabhu, author of "The Beech Tree"
Comfort Food by Kate Jacobs
Real comfort food makes us feel all safe and warm inside. It brings together family and friends by blending years, memories and tastes. The novel "Comfort Food" by Kate Jacobs brings all these elements to the table. Jacobs’s fictional television world of “The Cooking Channel” will look very familiar to us foodies and Food Network-aholics.
