Sharon Springs Free Library is excited to partner with the Sharon Springs Chamber of Commerce to bring you the first annual Second Saturday, June 9, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come see our displays, and visit our vendors, and enjoy the entertainment and food. Free movies for kids and teens!


One of our vendors specializes in gluten free baked goods.
Summer Saturday Hours: Beginning on Saturday June 16, we will be returning to our regular Saturday Hours 10 - 1 except for the subsequent Second Saturday events, July 14 and August 11. For our Second Saturday events, we will be open 10 - 2. We look forward to seeing you there.

Please note: The Library Board of Trustees will be meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23rd instead of on its usual fourth Thursday. This change is an exception for this month, and next month we will return to our regular pattern of meeting on the fourth Thursday of the month.

Our June 9 Book Discussion will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the Library. We will discuss The Glass Castle, a memoir about a very unconventional family, by Jeannette Walls, a book selected by one of our Library Board members. Copies of the book are available and have been provided by the Mohawk Valley Library System as part of their collection made possible with funds from the New York State Council on the Arts.

A brand new pair of baby goats has been born and will be coming to the library for Story Time on Saturday, May 19 at 10:00 a.m. Children of all ages are welcome to come meet and greet the new twins.
