Springs Spring Writing Contest

Ø Submissions are open to all residents of Schoharie County.

Ø Your story must have something to do with spring.

Ø All genres welcome.

Ø Only original work.

Ø No previously published material.

Ø No improprieties.

Ø No more than ten pages long (double spaced).

Submit online to shs@mvls.info or deliver or mail a hard copy of your story with the entry form to the Sharon Springs Free Library, P.O. Box 268, Sharon Springs, NY 13459

Must be received no later than 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 17, 2021

A panel of judges will determine the winning entries. Winners will be announced on our blog site shslib.blogsite.com and our Face Book page on April 30, Arbor Day.

First Place Prize is a Kindle Fire (donated by Lance and Anthony at Brimstone Bakery) and publication of your story in the Times-Journal.

Second Place, a $50 Stewart’s Shops gift card.

Third Place, a $25 Stewart’s Shops gift card.
